Akamuti Virgin Shea Butter Tubs
An incredible skin food, shea butter is rich &
creamy and packed with vitamins A, E & F & pure tree goodness! It
is richly moisturising to dry skin
& is the African treatment for skin
conditions such as eczema, sunburn, itching, insect bites & skin
blemishes. Shea Butter is also applied to protect the skin
from the elements & is thought to possess its own sunblocking powers.
Nutrient rich, it is easily applied & sooooo softening! Ideal for
parched, hungry or eczema prone skin
it is also great for rubbing
into babies bottoms!
Unrefined, unbleached & totally unadulterated, this
wildcrafted & fairly traded shea butter is produced by women co-operatives
from Togo, West Africa using harvesting & crafting techniques that have been
used for thousands of years. Free from any chemical processing, this shea
butter retains all its natural goodness, creamy colouring & natural nutty
aroma. It is a far cry from refined hard, white shea butter which is
literally processed to death!
Directions for use: Shea butter is a
firm butter & will be harder during the winter months & is more pliable
if kept at room temperature. It easily softens, so simply take a small amount
& soften in the palm of your hand to smooth over dry, damaged
skin
. Apply as often as required. Brilliant on wind
chapped lips & hands or on rough elbows,
knees & heels.
TIP! - Just before going to
bed, lather your feet in shea butter, slip on a pair of old socks (to save your
bed sheets!) & in the morning your feet will be baby soft!
Please Note: Shea Butter contains a natural substance which
is similar to latex & should be avoided by people with a latex
allergy.
