Akamuti Virgin Shea Butter Tubs
An incredible skin food, shea butter is rich and
creamy and packed with vitamins A, E & F and pure tree goodness!
It is richly moisturising for dry skin and is the African treatment
for skin conditions such as eczema, sunburn, itching, insect bites & skin
blemishes. Shea Butter is also applied to protect the skin from the
elements and is thought to possess its own sunblocking powers. Nutrient
rich, it is easily applied and sooooo softening! Ideal for parched,
hungry or eczema prone skin
it is also great for rubbing
into babies bottoms!
Unrefined, unbleached and
totally unadulterated, this wildcrafted and fairly traded shea butter is produced by
women co-operatives from Togo, West Africa using harvesting and crafting techniques that
have been used for thousands of years. Free from any chemical processing, this
shea butter retains all its natural goodness, creamy colouring and natural nutty
aroma. It is a far cry from refined hard, white shea butter which is
literally processed to death!
Directions for use: Shea butter is a firm butter and will be harder during the winter
months. It is more pliable if kept at room temperature. It easily softens
so simply take a small amount and soften in the palm of your hand to smooth
over
dry, damaged skin. Apply as often as required. Brilliant
on wind chapped lips and hands or on rough
elbows, knees and heels.
TIP! - Just before going to bed, lather your feet in shea butter,
slip on a pair of old socks (to save your bed sheets!) and in the morning your feet
will be baby soft!
