DermaTherapy Fitted Sheet - Cot
DermaTherapy is the first therapeutic bedding developed
specifically for individuals experiencing inspired by DermaSilk Therapeutic
Clothing,: DermaTherapy Bedding has a pore density of 8.5 microns between
its fibres and is therefore dust mite and bed bug resistant. It is also
effective against MRSA and Staph Aureus and is the only bedding to be FDA
approved for the treatment of mild atopic
dermatitis, the most common type of eczema.
Sensitive and delicate
skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis
Night sweats and hot
flushes (menopausal women, patients undergoing chemotherapy, patients with
Parkinson's Disease)
Pressure sores
DermaTherapy Bedding is made from uniquely structured long filament
fibres that dissipate heat and moisture away from the skin, resulting in a
cleaner, drier and smoother sleeping surface. It has a durable antimicrobial
permanently bonded into the fabric to eliminate odours and maintain fabric
freshness. PLUS a soil release finish to help remove oils, creams, blood and
other stains.
The uniquely structured microfibres draw and channel
moisture away from the skin and distrubute evenly over the whole surface of the
bedding. The moisture evaporates from the whole surface of the bedding, allowing
the skin to remain dry. The continuous filament woven yarns are designed to be
smooth, thus minimising friction with the skin. DermaTherapy is 37%
smoother than cotton sheets.
DermaTherapy Bedding is both dust
and lint free, can be washed at virtually any temperature and lasts twice as
long as conventional cotton bedding.
DermaTherapy for Eczema,
Psoriasis, Sensitive, Delicate and Allergic Skin
DermaTherapy is
the first bed linen to receive clearance from the American Food and Drug
Administration as a Class 1 Medical Device for the treatment of mild atopic
dermatitis, the most common type of eczema.
DermaTherapy sheets are
designed to be smooth, minimising friction with the skin as the fabrics are
free of short protruding fibres that can create friction and irritation. Damp
sheets can also lead to friction and DermaTherapy has the ability to rapidly
wick moisture away from the skin, allowing the skin to slide smoothly across the
sleeping surface, making it easier to roll over, leading to improved quality of
sleep.
As shown in the following microbiological analysis, DermaTherapy
is also highly effective in reducing the growth of organisms that are known to
adversely affect the skin, as opposed to cotton fabric which has virtually no
effect at all.
DermaTherapy's durable
antimicrobial finish helps maintain fabric freshness and eliminates odours
caused by bacterian and fungi.

Comments and Reviews:
This has been an answer to a prayer. We are excited to find
something to help her skin.
She slept more - wasn't hot and irritated.
I see a definite improvement in this comfort at night, he's not as
restless and does not wake-up nearly as often.
